Timing / method
When you submit the registration, through encrypted Cloudflare Worker/API connections to D1 and Shopify. This prototype does not transmit or save a submission
Purpose / retention
Validate and deduplicate the request, retain consent evidence and Album ID, upsert one Shopify customer, and manage the requested album notice and single discount eligibility. Keep until the requested notice is sent or consent is withdrawn, then delete without undue delay, subject to documented provider backup, security and legal cycles
