Frequenoir Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to digital audio purchases from Frequenoir, operated by Layered Diary. It supplements the Standard License Terms and does not limit any non-waivable right or remedy under applicable law.

1. Before Download or Digital Delivery Begins

Contact hello@frequenoir.com as soon as possible with the order number. If delivery has not begun, we will review the request and provide any cancellation or refund required by applicable law or this Policy.

If an order is refunded, the license associated with the refunded purchase ends.

2. After Download or Digital Delivery Begins

Because the product is reproducible digital content, a simple change-of-mind cancellation may be unavailable after delivery begins where the requirements for restricting withdrawal under applicable law have been satisfied, including any required notice and trial-use or preview measure. This does not affect rights that cannot legally be limited.

For consumers protected by Korean law, the ordinary withdrawal period is generally seven days. A change-of-mind withdrawal may be restricted after delivery of reproducible digital content begins only where legal requirements are satisfied, including clear notice and an appropriate trial-use or preview measure where required.

Frequenoir provides full-length evaluation streaming before purchase. Evaluation access does not itself grant any download, production, synchronization, or other licensed-use right.

3. Content or Delivery That Does Not Match the Order

If the delivered file is broken, corrupted, technically unusable, or not the item ordered, contact us with the order number, affected title/code, a description of the problem, and a screenshot or technical detail where helpful.

We will first provide the correct working file or restore access within a reasonable time. If that is not reasonably possible, we will refund the affected purchase and the associated license will end.

Where Korean consumer law applies and the content differs from its description or contract, the statutory remedy period is generally within three months after supply and within 30 days after the consumer knew or could have known of the mismatch. Both limits should be observed.

4. Duplicate Purchase

If the same customer accidentally purchases the same item more than once, send all relevant order numbers. After verification, we will refund the duplicate order. The license under the remaining valid order continues.

5. Fraud, Chargebacks, and Material Breach

Fraud, an unauthorized chargeback or payment reversal, or a material breach may terminate the affected license as stated in the Standard License Terms. Nothing prevents a customer from raising a good-faith payment dispute or exercising a statutory right.

6. Effect of a Refund on Published Work

Unless another valid license remains in effect, a refund ends the License and prohibits any new use of the Licensed Track.

If a refund results from a defective, corrupted, or incorrect file or another circumstance not caused by fraud, chargeback, payment reversal, material breach, or statutory withdrawal requiring use to cease, a Finished Project lawfully completed and published before the refund may remain available in its existing form. The License Holder may not edit, re-upload, redistribute, repurpose, or otherwise make any new use after the refund.

If termination results from fraud, chargeback, payment reversal, material breach, or applicable law requiring use to cease, the License Holder must cease use, including in previously published Finished Projects, to the extent permitted or required by law.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email hello@frequenoir.com with the order number, purchasing email address, affected product, reason, and relevant evidence. Do not send full payment-card details.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify the purchaser, order, delivery status, or defect. When approved, we will initiate the refund through the original payment method unless law requires another method.

Where a withdrawal is valid under Korean law, Layered Diary will make the refund within three business days from the date of withdrawal and will promptly request the payment provider to stop or reverse the charge as required by law. The later date on which a payment provider or financial institution posts the credit is controlled by that third party and may differ.
